Summary: Nice sofware with no worries
Comment: I have used many different anti virus programs over the years,(since the early 80's) and this one works very well and runs in the backround.
Unlike others where you have to constantly monitor status, this one, once times are established, just runs by itself, and then creates a report.It has also caught spyware and virus material's trying to infect my system, and eliminated them with one mouse click.
There is MS trialware in which you can "kick the tires" before buying.This, as well as what it caught, is what influenced my purchase.
I have used Norton(a memory hog), McAfee( missed a BAD virus BIG TIME , as well as other's. Until I see a decline in support or slowing down my system, I will stick with this program software. It seems to me, that good!

Summary: BEWARE OF RESOURCE HOG AND WASTED TIME
Comment: I made the mistake of not reading about this product prior to purchase. I've had the software for 2 weeks now, and am at the point of not caring about whether or not my computer is virus-protected. My review boils down to these facts:
1) One Care 2.0 is an extreme resource hog, and slows down your computer's performance significantly upon bootup and overall useage.
2) It constantly warns you of being at risk for not having the latest Windows updates, so expect 10 - 15 minutes spent every other day to download the latest updates and restarting your computer.
3) It corrupts music CD burning and must be shut off during that process or else your music CDs will have mute spots.
Is this enough for you to avoid the purchase? I hope so.
Stick with AVG or Trend Micro. Both are excellent products and do not weigh down your system's resources, interrupt simple tasks, constantly annoy you to download Windows updates, and will let you be at PEACE.

Comment: Having used version 1.0 last year, this was an obvious choice to get updated 2.0. I have not had any virus or spyware problems on my laptop or desktop computers since installing live onecare. Tune-up feature works exceptionally well and is all automatic. Great product for the average computer user.
